Description: A space elevator is a proposed type of space transportation system whose main component is a cable anchored to the Earth’s surface and extending into space. It is designed to permit vehicle transport from the planet’s surface to space – and back, bypassing the need for rockets.

Our featured speaker is Mr. Larry Bartoszek, P.E. of Bartoszek Engineering. Mr. Bartoszek’s presentation will cover the Edwards and Westling space elevator design and construction scenario, and some conceptual design work by Bartoszek Engineering on the first construction climber.

As always, CSSS events are free and open to the public so invite your friends and family to join us. Complimentary copies of Ad Astra, the premier magazine of space development and space settlement, will be available.

You can help us to promote this event by distributing our Space Elevator Meeting Flyer. Thank you.
